Now kinda often every time, it’s something boggling my mind, it’s like an escalator, gets me down/
Too many cares that come with life, I’m getting too preoccupied, and lettin Satan sit & watch me frown/
That’s when I notice that my faith is on the lowest and the voice of my Jehovah’s a forgotten sound/
But even though I can’t decipher what He’s speakin, that bible I should be reading, so I get it out now/
In chapter 4 & 5 of Peter, check the first one, you can see anxiety gotta retreat and bow/
And take a knee to Who’s the Highest, sober-minded, I’m reminded that it’s me that Jesus cares about/
Cast your cares on the Lord/
Cuz He know you can’t handle all the cares in your world/
Man, He is strong enough to handle mines and my peeps/
Go and lay em at His feet, if you don’t it’s a sign you don’t believe/

My faith is all I need, to prove whatever I don’t see, and make me believe what the word of God say/
Think of Cain and Abel’s life, who brought a better sacrifice? his faith alive even though he in a grave/
Noah warned em near and far, but only he got in the ark, faith the thing that got his family saved/
Abraham got out the nest, and got credit of righteousness, he was blessed, faith made him obey/
Even if you gotta suffer, think about some of ya brothers round da world that may be goin thru da same/
And there are some times I need Jesus restoring, confirming, strengthening, establishing, cuz ya boy be feelin lame/
So you can tell me that I suck/
